STEEL FIRE DOOR

(IS : 3614 Part- II & BS: Part 20 & 22)
DOOR FRAME :- Constructed from (16 SWG) thick Galvanized Steel sheet (Conform to IS 277) formed to double rebate profile of size 143mm X57mm (+/- 0.3mm) with a maximum bending radius of 1.4mm. The door frames may be built into the brick or block walls using corrugated "TEE" Anchors not welded to the frame (first fix). Frames may also be fixed on plastered openings with the help of Metallic Expansion Shield with counter sunk screw (second fix). Door Frames are supplied to knock-down form with butt joints for bolted assembly at site.

DOOR LEAVES > Constructed from (18SWG) thick Galvanized Steel sheet(Conform to IS 277) formed to provide a 42/46 mm thick fully flush, double skin door shell with bck seam joints at stile edges. Internal Reinforcements are provided at top, Bottom and Stile Edges for Fire Rating. The internal construction of the door is a specially designed Mineral Wool/ Honey comb Craft paper Insulation with reinforcements at top, bottom and stile surrounds. The internal construction of the door varies with the degree of Fire Rating as tested FORI 20 min. Fire Rated.

Door Frame:- Section of 143 x 57 mm having built in rebate made out of 16SWGG.I. sheet (zinc coating not less than 120gm/Sqm) duly filled with vermiculite based concrete mix. The frame is fitted with intumescent fire seal strip of size 10x4 mm (minimum) around the frame and fixing with dash fastener

Door Shutter: - 52 mm thick glazed fire resistant door shutters of 120 minutes' fire rating conforming to IS:3614 (Part-ll), tested and certified as per Govt. Laboratory approved, with suitable mounting on door frame, consisting of vertical styles, lock rail, top rail 100 mm wide, bottom rail 200 mm wide, made out of 16 SWG G.I. Sheet (zinc coating not less than 120 gm/m2) duly filled FR insulation material and fixing with necessary stainless steel ball bearing hinges of approved make.

Glazing fixed panels & partitions etc. with G.I. beading made out of 1.6mmthickG.l.sheet (zinc coating not less than 120 gm/m^ of size 20 x 33 mm screwed with M4 x 38 mm SS screws at distance 75 mm from the edges and 150 mm c/c, including applying a coat of approved fire resistant primer/powder coating of not less than 120 micron on G.I. beading, & special ceramic tape of 5 x 20 mm size etc As per NBC 2016, IS 16231 (Part 3):2016 with Fire Rated Clear Glass 120 minutes of fire resistance both integrity & radiation control (EW60) and insulation (EI20).

Frame has fitted by 8 nos. of MS 10 X 125 HRD Faster to RCC. The frame to be provided with 3 mm thick base plate and duly reinforced; pre-machined for receiving hardware & Hinges arrangement.

Door Shutter : 46 mm thick Acoustic Solution Shutter as per ASTM E 413-04. The OITC (Outdoor-Indoor Transmission Class) was calculated in accordance with ASTM E 1332-90 (RE-approved 2003). comprising of Door Shutter shall bemade of MS CRCA 1.2 mm pressed formed to provide fully flush double skin door shell with lock seam joints at style edges or as per manufactures specifications. The internal construction of the door shutter's to be ADHESIVE with rook wool, density 96 Kg/m3 will be provide to reduce noise with PU Cyanoacrylate and
Acrylic Thermosetting Adhesives insulation material to be provided for structural rigidity and specially designed with suitable internal reinforcement. The internal construction of the door should be appropriate for all hardware fixtures as required, Finally finish with Polyester (UV Resistant Grade) 120 Micron Grade Powder Coat.
